A day at the counter
Every customer brings a story and a price.
- 01
Someone walks in
A trumpet from a grandfather's parade band, a gold pocket watch, a motorcycle on a dolly. Sellers, buyers and people who need a loan come through the door all day.
- 02
Look closer
Turn it over and read the card. Weigh the gold and test it with acid, plug in what plugs in, and call the expert when you're not sure. Some things are worth far more than they look. Some are worth far less.
- 03
Haggle on the register
Dial in your offer and watch their face. Go too low and they walk. Check ClutterBid for what the same thing really sold for.
- 04
Price it and put it out
Tag it, put it in the case, and sell it to the next customer who wants it. Or hold it as a pawn and hope they come back to pay.
- 05
Close up and count the drawer
List the slow sellers online, take the best offer in the morning, and spend the profit on the next part of the shop.
From an empty room
Build it up one upgrade at a time.
The shop starts with bare shelves and a little cash in the drawer. Every deal pays for the next step.
- Day 1
An empty shop
Bare shelves and a register.
- Next
The gold case
Jewelry, watches and gold, behind glass.
- Then
The guitar wall
Hooks for every guitar that comes in.
- Then
The back room
Pawns, storage and selling online.
- Later
Next door
Break through the wall. Furniture, bikes, big deals.
- The goal
Own the building
Then climb the world rankings.
In the game
